Negri Bossi at Plast 2026 with three solutions for three strategic sectors

For Negri Bossi, participation in Plast 2026, taking place at Fiera Milano in Rho (Milan) from 9 to 12 June, will represent an important opportunity to demonstrate practical solutions specifically designed to address processors’ real-world challenges. At the exhibition, the Cologno Monzese-based company will present three applications developed along these lines, showcasing both fully hydraulic and electric machines in operation.

The first will feature a 110-tonne electric injection moulding machine for liquid silicone rubber processing, configured in collaboration with German mould specialist Ewikon, to produce a muffin mould cup intended for the food sector. Focus will also be placed on the cosmetics and medical sectors, both of which demand extremely high precision and superior aesthetic quality and have been selected as demonstration areas because of their greater stability compared with the volatility affecting other markets, particularly in the current period of severe geopolitical tensions.

For the cosmetics sector, the company will present a 110-tonne hydraulic machine from the new “Canbio” series, moulding a thick-wall transparent PETG component. Here, the challenge will be to produce a part free from inclusions and bubbles, while ensuring flawless transparency. The hydraulic machine for this cosmetics application will be equipped with the N-Sapli option, a technology developed to improve the quality of moulded parts, particularly where substantial wall thicknesses are involved, by equalising internal stresses, enhancing transparency and raising overall end-product quality. For the medical field, meanwhile, an 80-tonne press dedicated to the production of syringe barrels will be on display, in an application developed in collaboration with Ghilardi Stampi.
