Omipa continues to expand its international footprint with the opening of a new office in Mexico. This strategic investment reinforces its commitment to being closer to customers and partners all over the world, offering dedicated commercial support and a deeper understanding of local market needs. With a permanent presence in the region, Omipa aims to enhance communication, responsiveness and long-term collaboration across Mexico. Haydeé Aguilar (pictured) will lead the structure, will be responsible for the commercial activities in the area and will act as a direct point of contact with customers.

Haydeé Aguilar has a strong technical background and solid experience in the fields of mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, quality systems and plastics processing. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of industrial environments, gaining in-depth knowledge of production processes and the related technical issues. Thanks to the experience gained in the extrusion sector, she joined Omipa and, in Mexico, will be responsible for strengthening the company’s presence and ensuring closer support for local customers. The company’s direct presence in the country will enable it to better understand the needs of the market and to offer customers not only machinery, but also reliable technical support and a long-term partnership.

Mexico offers attractive opportunities for the extrusion sector, with many processors increasingly focused on improving production quality and efficiency while maintaining competitive costs. Omipa will leverage its technology and machinery, which allow precise control over key production parameters such as thickness, useful width and output, while ensuring consistent quality, as well as the availability of direct after-sales support. Mexico’s proximity to the United States and Canada further strengthens the role of the Mexican subsidiary as a strategic hub in North America. At the same time, growing attention to sustainability, recycling and the circular economy is increasing demand for advanced and efficient extrusion technologies, opening up new opportunities for Omipa’s solutions.

The company’s permanent presence in Mexico is intended to strengthen relationships with local processors and facilitate the development of new partnerships. Being established in the country ensures faster communication, closer support and a deeper understanding of customers’ needs. Haydeé Aguilar’s role will not be limited to providing commercial and technical support but will also involve assisting customers on a full-spectrum basis throughout the duration of their projects. This means supporting them not only in machinery selection and technical matters, but also in other areas, from project development and logistics coordination to the exploration of financial solutions where necessary. Such proximity makes collaboration more efficient and transparent, enabling the company to respond more quickly and effectively to each specific requirement, while strengthening its position in the Mexican market and creating the conditions for further developments and new projects.
