The Composites in Rail conference postponed from June to October

AMI announced that its Composites in Rail conference, due to take place in Berlin on June 3-4, has now been postponed October 8-9, 2020. The event will still take place in Berlin, but the uncertainty created by the coronavirus led to the decision to delay it.

“Following consultation with speakers, exhibitors and attendees we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule the event. It’s a very challenging time, but we’re receiving lots of support from the industry and are looking forward to catching up in person at the event”, Jordaine Minchin, Conference Producer AMI Composites Portfolio, commented.

The conference is returning to Berlin for the second edition following a successful launch in 2019. Attendee places will all be transferred to the new dates and most of the programme will remain the same. AMI will be working closely with event partners, national composite centre, to fill any gaps that appear in the agenda.

Speakers confirmed to return include Karim Slimani, from Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer français, Rocio Ruiz Gallardo from Aimplas, Frank ten Napel from Toray Advanced Composites and Eduardo de la Guerra from Talgo.
