The flexibility in granulation on display

At ArabPlast 2021 (Dubai, November 15-18) CMG Granulators proposes the new G17 range of granulators for the use beside the machines. They feature innovative characteristics that allow to obtain high productivity, regrind quality (dimensional homogeneity of the particles and absence of dust), operating efficiency and application flexibility. In standard configuration, the G17 granulators are applicable to injection moulding and blow moulding processes, while the ET1 and ET2 configurations are suitable for extrusion processes. Their production ranges from 5 to 90 kg/h.

At the fair, the Italian manufacturer also proposes a granulators range for thermoformed products, a market where reliability of the machines and the quality of the ground material are key factors. These new granulators feature low operating noise, though without sound-proofing enclosures, and are capable of grinding the entire sheet coming from the line start-up, as well as the sheets with thermoformed parts and plastic waste feedstock. This is possible because of the special inclination of the blades which helps cut down energy consumption by using electric motors with limited power.

Finally, it also proposes the EV916 and EV616 models of the new Evoluzione range, suitable for the grinding in wet or dry mode in the most critical conditions, where high performance, grinding capacity from 2000 to over 5000 kg/h, versatility, efficiency and sustainability are required. The Evoluzione range guarantees operational consistency and wear resistance of a higher degree, thanks to solutions that involve the use of Hardox harmonic steel and assembled modular structures. In addition to the precision to the hundredth of a millimetre in the construction of the new cutting chamber, which allows a much longer duration of the blades when compared to conventional models, all the Evoluzione machines are equipped with advanced controls for Industry 4.0, which makes their functions 100% monitorable and manageable.

The G17 granulators will also be protagonists at the Mecspe fair (Bologna, 23-25 November), where CMG will be present also with the SL low speed granulators without grids, consisting of four models with capacities from 5 to 30 kg/h.
