Maag Group strengthens management in recycling

To reinforce its strategic role in the plastic recycling sector, Maag Group has appointed Michael Heitzinger as new Manager Business Development Recycling, a role effective from 1 October to introduce him in his new position at K 2025.

Michael Heitzinger, who boasts 25 years of experience in managerial roles in the field of mechanical and plant engineering, recently served as OEM Relations Manager at Fimic. In his new position he will be responsible for growing the company's activities in the recycling sector, building solid technical-commercial partnerships and supporting the development of sustainable technologies capable of driving the circular economy.

Michael Heitzinger's arrival forms part of a broader strategic expansion of Maag Group's recycling team, which also includes the recent appointment of Stefan Schierl as Product Manager Recycling at Maag Group, following 17 years at KrausMaffei.
