Many novelties showcased to the clients, suppliers and families

On October 23 and 24, Moss opened its doors at its Reggio Emilia (Italy) premises to introduce its most innovative machines for printing and moulding plastic containers, of which the company is the largest manufacturer globally. In addition to Italian and foreign clients and suppliers, the families of 38 company employees also participated, welcoming the opportunity to get to know the workplace environment and duties of their parents and spouses.

On the technology side, the spotlights were pointed primarily on an innovative, fully servo-assisted, silk-screen printing machine, delivering multi-colour printing of cylindrical containers for the cosmetics industry. Its key characteristics include an automatic dual axis system for handling items and a UV-LED drying device.

Also on display were a system for dry-offset printing of PET egg cartons, a machine for hot dry application of digital images, a line for dry-offset printing of yoghurt cartons, a silk-screen printing machine for plastic capsules for liquor bottles and an offset line for printing mineral water and beverage bottle caps. “When it comes to bottle caps, Moss produces the fastest offset printing machine in the world, reaching throughputs of up to 300,000 pieces an hour”, Andrea and Daniela Fantozzi pointed out.
