Xenia’s new Xelamid range of unreinforced, impact-modified PA 11 and PA 12 materials combines strong mechanical performance with low density, and has been engineered to deliver an optimal balance of stiffness, impact resistance and energy absorption. The portfolio spans a broad spectrum of properties and, depending on the grade selected, can achieve performance levels such as a 30% increase in elongation at break, up to tenfold higher impact resistance, and flexural and tensile moduli of 650 MPa and 750 MPa respectively.

This well-balanced mix of mechanical properties, lightweight performance and design flexibility makes the Xelamid range particularly suitable for applications in sporting goods, consumer products and industrial components. Thanks to its modular structure, the range provides versatile solutions for a wide variety of end uses, enabling manufacturers and designers to select the most appropriate grade to match functional and processing requirements.
