Franplast celebrates sixty years in TPE-S

Franplast marked the opening of its sixtieth anniversary celebrations with the Tech Day event, held at the company's premises in Provaglio d'Iseo (Brescia). The event focused on innovation, training and networking for mould makers and moulders active in the TPE-S market, and was designed to strengthen direct dialogue between laboratory, production and commercial operators. It offered participants a hands-on opportunity to exchange views on processes, performance and new application possibilities, combining technical training with commercial networking. "Celebrating sixty years means looking ahead: we are proud to have offered industry professionals a concrete discussion on innovation, materials and processes, strengthening our collaboration with clients and partners," commented Elena Franceschetti, CEO of Franplast.

The event forms part of an annual programme marking Franplast's 60th anniversary through a strategy built around six core pillars: product customisation, sustainability, internationalisation, people-centricity, social engagement with the local community, and health and wellbeing. Each event in the series will be dedicated to one of these pillars. The first focused on customisation, illustrating how Franplast supports moulders and processors in developing tailored solutions. Technology and sustainability underpin every decision the company makes, reflecting its commitment to offering innovative, high-performance materials.

The event was attended by numerous industry professionals, who were able to engage directly with the Franplast team on technical and application-related topics in the TPE-S field. The day opened with a welcome and networking session, during which participants exchanged experiences and explored the key operational challenges of the moment. Elena Franceschetti then outlined the company's evolution over its sixty years of activity, focusing on future prospects and the development trends shaping the TPE-S market. A technical session led by Gabriele Ercole, Research and Development Director, examined material performance, processability and the solutions currently being developed in the company's laboratory. A visit to the laboratory and its press room gave attendees the opportunity to observe research, testing and quality control activities at first hand.
