A webinar for approaching GreenPlast 2022
On December 1, at 10.30 am, a webinar in Italian, introducing GreenPlast and its protagonists, is due to be live streamed, featuring Icma San Giorgio, Maris and Bausano. Promaplast’s intention, through this series of webinars - the first took place on 9 and 10 November and saw the participation of Tomra, Previero and Bandera - is to accompany industry operators in the run-up to the new exhibition-conference event dedicated to plastics and rubber and to processing technologies and applications for these materials, which is due to be held from 3 to 6 May 2022 at the Fiera Milano exhibition centre in Rho-Pero. This show will focus, in particular, on sustainability, recovery, recycling and energy efficiency. For these webinars, Promaplast has turned to the exhibitors directly, asking them to give industry operators the chance to learn more about all that, today, makes plastic and rubber sustainable materials.
The upcoming webinar, entitled “Extrusion in plastic and rubber recycling processes”, will involve three Italian manufacturers of extrusion lines and systems, all leading players on the international stage, and it will show just how important extrusion is in these processes, constituting one of the most important technologies for giving post-consumer materials (and the regrinds obtained from them) a new lease of life, in a manner perfectly in line with the goals of the ecological transition.
Corrado Moneta (in the picture below, first from the left), technical sales manager of Icma San Giorgio, will illustrate state-of-the-art recycling of plastics with a corotating twin-screw extruder; Marco Girotto (second from left), R&D technical project manager at Maris, will introduce Evorec as a modern advanced solution for the efficient recycling of plastics and rubber; Marco Masiero (second from the right) and Alessandro Ruotolo (first from the right), respectively test engineer and extrusion test and R&D manager for Bausano, will talk about extrusion and energy saving as a winning combination for the recovery of post consumer plastics.
To promote GreenPlast internationally, the webinar will also be live streamed in English on December 2 at 10.30 am, and also aired at 4 pm, so as to take into account time zone differences and give overseas viewers the chance to watch it from anywhere in the world.
