In the weeks preceding the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic in Italy, an important German company, leading the market of cosmetics packaging manufacturers, entrusted Moss with the construction of a screen-printing machine, whose FAT and delivery date has fallen during the pandemic lockdown in Italy.
The customer, belonging to Berry Global group and already user of several Moss lines have been given the opportunity to watch a video streaming session in order to view the test thanks to multiple webcams around the perimeter of the machine and to participate actively by interacting with the Moss team.
The installation and start-up of the screen-printing line at the customer’s facilities have been carried out mid-April with the remote support of Moss who, in addition to providing video instructions for reassembling and wiring the system, have also deployed their mechanical engineers and programmers by creating a dedicated support channel.
Moss have enhanced theirs diagnostic and troubleshooting services since the early moments of the pandemic lockdown, offering customers the possibility of receiving remote technical assistance and training. This is made possible thanks to the remote assistance mode available on all Moss machines and to the new multilingual video call support at the company's after-sales service.
